It's sad to think that there are people who feel superior to afrocolombians. As humans, we all have the same rights regardless of our race. Many people, including me, are not aware of the situation of black people in Colombia.- 42% of them have no jobs.- Only 2 out of 10 young afrocolombians go to the university.- The rate of illiteracy in black people in Colombia is greater than in the rest of the country.- Children mortality rate is three times greater than in the rest of the population. If there's no education, there are no jobs. Being white does not make you a better person, nor smarter, nor more important. We all have to be aware of this situation and help as much as we can. Afrocolombians, like all of us, have the right to education and to have a high quality of life. Your help, along with everyone else's can make the difference.SAY NO TO RACISM.If you're interested in taking a look to the most representative afrocolombians in history, visit this link:http://www.eltiempo.com/Multimedia/galeria_fotos/colombia4/GALERIAFOTOS-WEB-PLANTILLA_GALERIA_FOTOS-11755705.html
